Air Bag Restraint System: Adjustments: CLOCKSPRING

With battery disconnected, air bag module removed and steering wheel removed, turn clockspring clockwise until it stops. DO NOT use excessive force. Rotate clockspring counterclockwise 2 3/4 turns.
Align marks on clockspring with marks on outer housing. Install steering wheel and tighten steering wheel bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install air bag module. Reconnect battery cables.
