Outside/Recirculated Air Door Inoperative
- Check Voltage To Outside/Recirculated Air Door Actuator
Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect outside/recirculated air door actuator connector, located behind passenger-side instrument panel lower cover. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage at indicated wire of outside/recirculated air door actuator connector. See OUTSIDE/RECIRCULATED AIR DOOR ACTUATOR VOLTAGE TEST table. If voltage is not as specified, go to next step. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect outside/recirculated air door actuator connector. Disconnect A/C control panel 12-pin connector. Measure resistance of Yellow/Black wire between outside/recirculated air door actuator connector and ground. Resistance should be greater than 10,000 ohms. Measure resistance of Yellow/Black wire between outside/recirculated air door actuator connector and A/C control panel 12-pin connector. Resistance should be less than 5 ohms. If resistances are as specified, go to next step. If resistances are not as specified, repair Yellow/Black wire. - Check White Wire
Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect outside/recirculated air door actuator connector and A/C control panel 12-pin connector. Measure resistance of White wire between outside/recirculated air door actuator connector and ground. Resistance should be greater than 10,000 ohms. Measure resistance of White wire between outside/recirculated air door actuator connector and A/C control panel 12-pin connector. Resistance should be less than 5 ohms. If resistances are as specified, replace A/C control panel. If resistances are not as specified, repair White wire.
