Valve Lifters: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION: If rocker arm shafts are not loosened gradually, shafts may be bent or damaged.

Remove lower intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLDS . Note original location of push rods and lifters during removal for installation reference. Gradually loosen rocker shaft and remove rocker shaft. Remove push rods and lifters.
