Section 8 (Front Suspension - (4WD)): Description

The independent front suspension consists of steering knuckles, upper and lower control arms, coil springs, shock absorbers and stabilizer bar. See Fig 1 . Integral ball joints and bushings are mounted in the control arms. Shims installed in upper control arm mounting brackets provide caster and camber adjustment. Individual axle shafts are splined into the hub assembly. The 4WD hubs are constantly engaged to axles.
