Charge Control Actuator

  1. Ensure engine is cool. Remove hose connected to actuator. Connect vacuum pump to charge control actuator. See Fig 1 .
  2. Apply 2 in. Hg vacuum to charge actuator. Ensure actuator rod moves when vacuum is applied. If actuator rod does not move, replace charge actuator.
