Continuous Monitor Mode (Wiggle Test): Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 Mazda MX-6 and 1995 Mazda 626. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Continuous Monitor Mode allows technician to attempt to recreate an intermittent fault while monitoring system. This mode, also called wiggle test, may be used in both KOEO SELF-TEST and KOER SELF-TEST. TESTS specify use of this procedure to identify intermittent faults in specific circuits or components.
