- Verify air filter is clean.
- Check fuel filter for restriction.
- Check closed throttle position switch
- Check coil resistance.
- Check mass airflow sensor for cracks.
- Check EGR valve and solenoid for correct operation (if equipped).

- Check atmospheric pressure sensor.
