Valve Lifters: Installation

Lubricate lifter and cylinder block bore with Oil Conditioner (D9AZ-19579-D) or heavy engine oil. Install lifter in original location, with alignment tab in locating groove of bore. See Fig 1. Ensure lifters slide freely in bore. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table.
