Installation (Bronco)

  1. Align cam retaining key on cam assembly with keyway on spindle. Install steel thrust washer, plastic thrust washer and splined thrust washer. Install snap ring on axle shaft. Ensure snap ring is properly seated in stub shaft groove.
  2. CAUTION: DO NOT force hub body onto hub and rotor assembly. Check alignment of components if hub body will not fit into position.
  3. Rotate any one of 3 moving cam stops to one o'clock position in relation to fixed cam retaining key. Install hub body by aligning 3 hub body legs with 3 slots in cam assembly. Ensure hub body is properly positioned so groove in rotor tube is visible. Install lock ring into groove. Install cap, and tighten screws to 35-53 INCH lbs. (4-6 N.m).
