Removal & Installation (Main System)

- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove air cleaner or air inlet duct. Disconnect vacuum hose from vacuum reservoir check valve. Disconnect harness from air shutoff door vacuum motor solenoid. Remove reservoir mounting screws and reservoir.
- Disconnect wiring harness from blower motor. Remove cooling tube from blower motor. Remove blower motor screws and blower motor. See Fig 1. Remove hub clamp from blower fan, and remove fan from motor shaft. To install, reverse removal procedure.
