Fuel System: Turbocharger: Installation

- Install NEW oil gallery "O" rings. Connect turbocharger electrical connectors and position turbocharger assembly onto cylinder block. Install turbocharger retaining bolts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Loosely install right and left turbocharger exhaust inlet pipes-to-turbocharger exhaust inlet adapter. Install compressor manifold onto turbocharger and tighten hose clamps. Install engine lift hook and raise vehicle.
- Tighten 2 right and left lower turbocharger exhaust inlet pipes-to-turbocharger exhaust inlet adapter bolts to specification. Tighten 4 right and left turbocharger exhaust inlet pipes-to-exhaust manifold bolts and nuts to specification. Install catalytic converter-to-engine charge exhaust pipe bolts.
- Lower vehicle. Tighten 2 right and left upper turbocharger exhaust inlet pipes-to-turbocharger exhaust inlet adapter bolts to specification. Install turbocharger-to-exhaust outlet clamp. Install air intake tube and hose assembly.
