Test "J" Display Does Not Light - Blower Off)

  1. Check EATC System

    Test EATC system operation. See EATC SYSTEM TEST under TESTING. Repair as necessary. If system tests okay, go to next step.
  2. Check Illumination Power Supply At EATC Module

    Turn on parking lights or headlights. Turn headlight dimmer control fully on without turning on dome light. Connect test light between ground and terminal No. 18 (Light Blue/Red wire) of EATC module connector. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open Light Blue/Red wire.
  3. Check EATC Module Ground Circuit

    Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between known-good ground and terminal No. 24 (Black wire) of EATC module connector. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace EATC module (control panel). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open Black wire.
