Blower Motor Current Draw Test

  1. Ensure battery is fully charged. Disconnect blower motor wiring harness. Connect ammeter leads and jumper wire between blower motor connector terminals and harness connector terminals.
  2. Place temperature selector lever in mid-range position and function selector lever in PNL/FLR position. Start engine. Check blower motor amperage draw at indicated fan switch positions. See BLOWER MOTOR TEST SPECIFICATIONS  table.
