Retrieving DTCS

DTCs are retrieved from powertrain control system through Data Link Connector (DLC). See Fig 1. Self-diagnostic test procedures are for use with New Generation Star (NGS) scan tool. If a generic scan tool is used, ensure tool is certified OBD-I standard.
