Removal (Auxiliary System)

  1. Remove third, fourth and fifth bench seats (if equipped). Remove auxiliary A/C-heater cover assembly. Discharge A/C system using approved refrigerant recovery/recycling equipment. Using 2 wrenches, disconnect liquid line from expansion valve. Remove insulating tape from evaporator core outlet tube.
  2. Remove clamp and expansion valve capillary bulb from outlet tube. Using 2 wrenches, remove expansion valve from evaporator core inlet tube. Cap all openings.
