Blower Motor Current Draw Test

  1. Disconnect Dark Blue/Light Green wire for main (Pink/White for auxiliary) from blower motor connector. Connect ammeter between wire connector terminal and motor terminal. Connect jumper wire between Orange/Black wire for main (Orange/Red for auxiliary) connector terminal and motor terminal.
  2. Adjust temperature control knob to midway between COOL and WARM positions. Move function selector knob to MAX A/C position. With battery fully charged, turn ignition on and operate blower in all speeds. Ensure current draw is within specified range. See appropriate BLOWER TEST SPECIFICATIONS  table.
