Aerostar uses a split core blend-air type A/C-heater system. The evaporator case contains the evaporator core, blower motor, blower motor resistor and outside air shutoff door. The door is controlled by a vacuum motor actuated by an electric vacuum solenoid valve. System employs a fixed orifice tube, cycling clutch system with multi-pass S-flow evaporator core and accumulator-drier.
