Low Oil Pressure (With Proper Oil)

  1. Using Pressure Tester Kit (014-00761) and Adapter (5633), verify accuracy of oil pressure sender. If oil pressure sender is accurate and operating normally, go to next step. If oil pressure sender is not accurate, replace sender and repeat this step.
  2. Change engine oil and filter. Operate engine until engine reaches normal operating temperature. Check oil pressure. If oil pressure is okay, return vehicle to customer. If oil pressure is unsatisfactory, repair or replace lubrication system components as necessary.
