Fuel Injection Pump Lever (FIPL) Sensor

This sensor may also be referred to as Throttle Position Sensor (TP sensor or TPS). Ensure none of the following conditions exist:

Binding throttle or speed control linkage.
Idle speed and throttle stop improperly adjusted.
Choke/high cam system sticking.
