Removal (Van)

- Disconnect ground cables from both batteries. Remove interior engine cover. Remove heat shield. Remove 4 exhaust crossover pipe-to-turbocharger inlet adapter bolts. Remove turbocharger exhaust outlet clamp. Loosen 2 turbocharger exhaust inlet pipe-to-left exhaust manifold bolts. See Figure.
- Remove turbocharger exhaust inlet clamp from turbocharger. Remove hose and position aside. Remove 4 turbocharger-to-cylinder block bolts. Remove turbocharger assembly and disconnect electrical connectors. If turbocharger will not be disassembled, install Turbo Protective Cap Set (T94T-9395-AH). Remove and discard oil gallery "O" rings.
