Oil Pan: Removal

Remove engine from vehicle. See ENGINE . Remove 12 oil pan retaining bolts. It may be necessary to cut silicone sealant on each side of oil pan. Pry up on one side of oil pan to break silicone seal and remove oil pan. Remove oil pump screen cover and pick-up tube.
