Valve Clearance

NOTE: Valve cover(s) must be removed before performing valve adjustment. See appropriate article in the ENGINES section for removal and installation procedures.

4.0L V6 - VIN [X] (for Aerostar)

NOTE: Hydraulic valve lifters and nonadjustable rocker arms are used; valve adjustment is not possible. If valve lifters are found to be excessively worn or noisy, test and repair or replace as necessary.
