Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor - 4.0L: Removal

Position crankshaft to TDC of cylinder No. 1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove upper intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in appropriate ENGINES article. Unplug harness connector from CMP sensor. Remove CMP sensor holdown and CMP sensor.
