Instrument Panel
Instrument cluster contains a speedometer, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge and a voltmeter. Warning lights are located in 2 vertical columns, one on each side of instrument cluster and also along bottom of instrument cluster. Odometer and transmission range indicator are stacked below speedometer. See Fig 1 . Intensity of illumination is controlled by rotating headlight switch knob, controlling output of pulse width module. Instrument cluster and panel will not illuminate when headlight switch is in OFF position.
When ignition switch is turned to ON position, the following warning indicators will light momentarily for function proof:
- Air Bag Readiness
- Brake System
- Charging System
- MIL (CHECK ENGINE)
- Door Ajar
- Rear ABS
- Safety Belt
