Drive Pinion Bearing Race Installation

Install oil baffle in inner bearing race bore of housing. Place inner and outer pinion bearing races in bores of axle housing.
Place Inner/Outer Race Installers (T71P-4616-A) on bearing races. See Fig 1 . Install Forcing Screw (T75T-1176-A) through bearing races. Tighten forcing screw until both bearing races are seated in axle housing.

NOTE: Check tools in pinion depth gauge set for nicks or damage before each use. Remove any high spots on tools to ensure accurate readings.
