Pinpoint Test S - Tach Indicates Zero, Too High/Too Low/Erratic

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Unplug C1, connector from instrument cluster.
  2. Measure resistance of White/Pink wire between Ignition Control Module (ICM) and connector C1, pin No. 20. See Figure . If resistance is less than 100 ohms, replace instrument cluster. If resistance 100 ohms or more, repair open in White/Pink wire.
