Pinpoint Test M - Speedometer Always Indicates Too Hi/Too Low

  1. Remove speed sensor from transmission. Check that correct driven gear is installed for transmission, axle, and tire combination. If gear is incorrect, install correct gear. If gear is correct, go to next step.
  2. Check that correct drive gear is installed on transmission output shaft. If drive gear is correct, replace instrument cluster, then retest system. If drive gear is incorrect, install correct drive gear.
