Pinpoint Test Ac - Low Oil Warning Never/Always On

Check fuses and inspect connectors for looseness or damage. Inspect wiring for looseness or damage. If a problem is found, repair as necessary and then proceed to step 3). If fuses, connections and wiring are okay, go to next step.
Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC) and retrieve continuous codes. Perform on demand self test. If DTC B1384 is retrieved as a self test and continuous code, go to step 4). If DTC B1383 is retrieved as a self test and continuous code, Repair battery short in White/Pink wire between Generic Electronic Module (GEM) and oil level warning lamp.
Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC) and run wiggle test. If no DTC sets, malfunction is not present at this time. If DTC B1391 is set Check Whit/Pink wire for short to ground in White/Pink wire between Generic Electronic Module (GEM) and oil level warning lamp. Repair as necessary. If okay, go to step 5).
Check LOW OIL bulb for continuity. Replace as necessary. If bulb is okay, go to next step.
Disconnect oil level sensor and ground White/Pink wire. On scan tool, read PID OIL-LVL. If display reads 0.0%, go to next step. If display does not read 0.0%, repair open in White/Pink wire, and return to step 2).
Check for open sensor ground (Gray wire) between ground and oil level sensor. Repair Gray wire as necessary. If wire is okay, replace oil level sensor.
