Pinpoint Test Aa - High Beam Warning Never/Always On
- If high beam warning light is never on, go to next step. If high beam warning light is always on, go to step 4).
- Check Brown/White wire for short to ground. Repair if necessary. If wire is okay, go to next step.
- Disconnect instrument cluster wiring harness connector. Check for continuity between ground and instrument cluster connector C1, pin No. 4 (Brown/White wire). See Figure . If continuity is present, repair Gray/White wire or Light Green/Black wire. If continuity is not present, replace bulb.
- Turn ignition off. Set headlights on low beam. If high beams are on, check headlight switch and multifunction switch. Repair as necessary. If high beams do not come on, check for short to power in Gray/White wire or Brown/White wire. On vehicles with DRL, replace DRL module.
