Pinpoint Test AE - Seat Belt Warning Fails Prove-Out

  1. Check system wiring harness, connectors and fuse. Repair or replace as necessary. If all components are okay, go to next step.
  2. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Using scan tool, retrieve continuous memory DTCs. If DTC B1323 is not present, go to next step. If DTC B1323 is present, go to step 4).
  3. Using scan tool, check for continuous memory DTC B1325. If DTC B1325 is not present, go to next step. If DTC B1323 is present, repair Dark Green/Light Green wire between generic electronic module and instrument cluster connector C3, pin No. 4. See Figure .
  4. Check indicator bulb. Replace if necessary. If bulb is okay, go to next step.
  5. Check for battery voltage in Red/Yellow wire between interior fuse panel and instrument cluster connector C2, pin No. 33. See Figure . If battery voltage is present, repair open in circuit No. 450 (Dark Green/Light Green wire) between generic electronic module and seat belt warning indicator light. If battery voltage is not present, repair open in circuit No. 640 (Red/Yellow wire).
