Pinpoint Test J - Oil Pressure Gauge Always Indicates High

  1. Ensure engine oil pressure is okay. Perform OIL PRESSURE SENDING UNIT TEST under TESTING. If sending unit is okay, go to next step. Replace sending unit if it fails test.
  2. Perform OIL PRESSURE GAUGE TEST under TESTING. If oil pressure gauge is okay, repair shorted Purple/Yellow wire between harness connector pin No. 6 and sending unit harness connector. Replace oil pressure gauge if it fails test.
