Pinpoint Test F - Coolant Temp Gauge Always Indicates Hot

  1. Perform COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENDING UNIT TEST under TESTING. If sending unit is okay, go to next step. Replace sending unit if it fails test.
  2. Perform COOLANT TEMPERATURE GAUGE TEST under TESTING. If temperature gauge is okay, repair shorted Black/Blue wire between instrument cluster 14-pin connector pin No. 5 and sending unit harness connector. Replace temperature gauge if it fails test.
