Pinpoint Tests: Notes

Use the following Procedure to find correct test and test step to go to after retrieving DTC. If no DTCs are given, perform test according to symptom. See Fig 1 .

NOTE: Self-diagnostic testing does not apply to manually shifted transfer case or non-OBD-II compliant vehicles. The testing provided can be helpful in diagnosing some faults in these vehicles.
