Fuel Gauge

The fuel level indicating system consists of a fuel gauge sending unit, antislosh module, and fuel gauge. The sending unit changes resistance according to fuel level in the tank, which varies current through the gauge. In this system, sending unit resistance is low when fuel level is low; resistance is high when fuel level is high. An antislosh module damps fluctuating signals from the sending unit.
