Pinpoint Test S - Odometer Does Not Accumulate Mileage, Or Accumulates One Mile & Then Jumps Backward

  1. Verify odometer does not accumulate mileage. If mileage does not accumulate, go to next step. If odometer accumulates one mile and then jumps backward, temporarily substitute known good EIC, then retest system.
  2. Check speedometer operation. If speedometer operates correctly, temporarily substitute known good EIC, then retest system. If speedometer does not operate properly, go to PINPOINT TEST K.
