Front Brake Caliper & Pads: Removal

Raise and support vehicle. Remove front wheels. Disconnect and plug brake hose from caliper. See Figure . Mark caliper as right or left for installation reference. Remove caliper bolts. Pivot and slide caliper off guide pin. Remove brake pads, anti-rattle shims and brake pad clips. Remove guide pin dust boots and caliper guide pin bushings.
