Pinpoint Test De - Speed Control Indicator In Instrument Cluster Does Not Come On

  1. Unplug connectors from speed control amplifier, located at left rear of engine compartment. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between 8-pin connector Orange/Light Blue wire and 6-pin connector terminal Black wire. If voltage is approximately 5 volts, go to next step. If voltage is not approximately 5 volts, go to step 3).
  2. Inspect for continuity of Orange/Light Blue wire between 8-pin connector and instrument cluster connector C2-2 pin No. 25. See Figure . If continuity exists, replace EIC. If continuity does not exist, repair open circuit in Orange/Light Blue wire.
  3. Check for battery voltage at White/Pink wire at speed control servo connector. If battery voltage exists, replace speed control servo. If battery voltage does not exist, repair appropriate wire.
