Instrument Panel - Analog: Testing: Voltmeter

Ensure battery is fully charged. Turn ignition and headlights on. Voltmeter should indicate approximately 12-12.5 volts. If gauge does not indicate properly, check wiring and connections. See appropriate chassis wiring diagram in WIRING DIAGRAMS . If connections are tight and wiring is okay, replace voltmeter.
