Suspension - Rear Electronic Air: Description
Optional rear automatic suspension system is air operated and computer controlled. Air springs replace conventional steel coil springs and provides low spring rates for improved ride and automatic rear load leveling.
Air springs are mounted to rear axle spring seats and to frame upper spring seats, similar to conventional steel coil springs.
System includes: on-off switch, air compressor assembly, vent solenoid (integral component of air compressor assembly), air drier, compressor relay, air spring solenoid, air springs, height sensor, control module, diagnostic connector, wiring, nylon tubing and "Y" fitting. See Fig 1 .
