Fuel Gauge

This gauge displays amount of fuel remaining in the tank. A bad signal or defective sending unit is indicated when only top 2 and bottom 2 bars of gauge appear. A CO or CS will appear if FUEL REMAINING or DISTANCE TO EMPTY is selected on message center and an open or short exists in fuel tank sending unit circuit. A low fuel alert will be indicated by a flashing fuel pump symbol whenever fuel remaining is less than 1/8 tank.
