No Warning Tone When Thermometer Symbol Is Blinking

  1. Driver alert tone is not active until at least 300 RPM or valid oil pressure has been detected (engine is running). Warning chime module will not chime if another sound is being produced. Driver alert is only given for temperatures above normal.
  2. Set ignition switch to RUN position. Press any cluster control button, and listen for chime. If chime sounds, system is okay. If chime does not sound, go to DISPLAY DOES NOT RESPOND TO BUTTONS.
