Hazard Warning Switch Test
- Set hazard warning switch to ON position. With harness connector unplugged, continuity should exist between switch terminal No. 44 and terminals No. 2, 3, 5 and 9. Continuity should exist between terminal No. 49 and battery terminal of multifunction switch. See Fig 1

- Continuity should not exist between terminal No. 511 and terminals No. 5, 9, 44, 2 and 3. Continuity should not exist between terminal No. 49 and ignition terminal of switch. See Fig 1
.
- Set hazard warning switch to OFF position. Continuity should exist between terminals No. 511 and 9, between terminal No. 44 and terminals No. 2 and 5, and between terminals No. 15 and 379.
- With hazard warning switch in OFF position, continuity should not exist between terminal No. 511 and terminals No. 2, 5, 44 and 385. Continuity should not exist between terminal No. 44 and terminals No. 3, 9 and 385. Continuity should not exist between terminals No. 385 and 2.
