The electronic instrument cluster contains an electronic speedometer/odometer/tachometer, fuel computer, system scanner and electronic fuel and engine temperature gauges. Cluster also includes AIR BAG, ANTI LOCK, BRAKE and CHECK ENGINE warning lights and charging system, high beam, left turn, oil pressure, right turn, transmission selector and safety belt indicators. The electronic instrument cluster operates only when ignition switch is in RUN position. Each time ignition switch is turned from OFF to RUN position, the electronic displays perform a self-test by momentarily lighting and then turning off all display segments. After self-test, the cluster will return to normal operation.
