System Scanner

The system scanner receives input signals from the light-out module, oil level, washer fluid level and door ajar sensors. When a warning condition occurs, a diagnostic message is displayed together with a one-second tone (chime). The message is displayed as long as the condition is current, but no additional tones will sound. If more than one warning condition occurs, each message will be displayed simultaneously. The scanner displays the following messages:

• CHECK OIL
• DOOR AJAR
• HEADLAMP OUT
• NORMAL
• REAR LAMP OUT
• WASHER FLUID
