Seat Belt Warning Light Short Check No. 1

  1. Unplug Central Processing Unit (CPU) 14-pin connector, located at joint box, above interior fuse panel. See IDENTIFYING WARNING LIGHT CIRCUIT illustration. Set ignition switch to RUN position.
  2. If SEAT BELT warning light goes off, go to SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT SHORT CHECK NO. 2. If SEAT BELT warning light does not go off, repair Brown/Black wire between instrument cluster and CPU.
