Seat Belt Warning Light Inoperative Check

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect CPU 14-pin connector, located at joint box, above fuse panel near left kick panel. Ground Brown/Black wire at CPU connector. See IDENTIFYING WARNING LIGHT CIRCUIT illustration. Set ignition switch to RUN position.
  2. If SEAT BELT warning light comes on, go to SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT CPU CHECK. If SEAT BELT warning light does not come on, go to SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT SIGNAL CHECK.
