Fuel Gauge Continuity Check No. 2

  1. Ground Black/Light Green wire at fuel tank sending unit. See IDENTIFYING FUEL TANK SENDING UNIT CONNECTOR illustration. Fuel tank sending unit connector is located at front of fuel tank.
  2. Set ignition switch to RUN position. Observe fuel gauge. If fuel gauge indicates correctly, repair Black/Light Green wire between fuel tank sending unit and ground. If gauge indicates incorrectly, replace fuel tank sending unit.
