Fuel Gauge Continuity Check No. 1

  1. Ground Yellow wire at fuel tank sending unit 6-pin connector. See IDENTIFYING FUEL TANK SENDING UNIT CONNECTOR illustration. Fuel tank sending unit connector is located at front of fuel tank.
  2. Observe fuel gauge. If fuel gauge indicates full, go to FUEL GAUGE CONTINUITY CHECK NO. 2. If fuel gauge does not indicate full, repair Yellow wire between gauge and fuel tank sending unit.
