Fuel Gauge Check

  1. Ground Yellow wire at instrument panel 8-pin connector. See IDENTIFYING INSTRUMENT PANEL 8-PIN CONNECTOR illustration. Instrument panel 8-pin connector is located on right side of cluster, near steering column.
  2. Set ignition switch to RUN position. Observe fuel gauge. If fuel gauge indicates full, go to FUEL GAUGE CONTINUITY CHECK NO. 1. If fuel gauge does not indicate full, replace instrument cluster.
