Rear Crankshaft Oil Seal: Installation

  1. Coat seal and seal housing with engine oil. Using press and Seal Installer (T88C-6701-BH), install seal in housing.
  2. Install seal housing with new gasket. Tighten retaining bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table at end of article. Trim gasket even with cylinder block. To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure.
